Its the 40th anniversary of The Dark Knight Returns, so today we're looking back at some of the drawings I've done that were inspired by the works of Frank Miller.

Of course, you can't mention Frank Miller without at least a brief visit to Sin City.

A year after his ground-breaking work on The Dark Knight Returns, Miller teamed up with David Mazzucchelli to bring fans the first year of Batman and Jim Gordon's war on crime in Batman: Year One.

In 2015, Miller collaborated with Brian Azzarello, Andy Kubert and Klaus Janson on The Dark Knight III: The Master Race. Numerous guest artists provided variant covers for the series, and I got to try my hand at drawing Miller's aging Batman and his companions in a variety of styles (You can see the Jim Lee covers I copied here).

That's all for Part III, TTFN! 😉
